Our Charity Work

At The Patch MK, we do more than just sunflower and pumpkin picking! We do lots of charity and community work to improve lives of people in the UK and worldwide.

The Felix Project

Since we opened in 2019 we have donated over 95,000 meals in pumpkins and squash to the Felix project, who redistribute Pumpkins and squash to charities such as homeless hostels, community kitchens, women’s refuge centres, food banks, and schools in deprived areas.

The Milton Keynes Neonatal Ward

Since 2019 The Patch MK has raised £11,778.11 for Milton Keynes Neonatal Ward.

We spent this money on BabyLeo incubators. They are described as the ‘Rolls Royce’ of neonatal incubators.

Medical Detection Dogs

The Medical Detection dogs, based locally to us, have visited our Pumpkin and Sunflower picking events. They have come to aid the dogs in their Public Access Training.

These dogs undergo training to detect the odour of human disease. The aim is to develop faster, more efficient, and less invasive diagnostics, leading to better patient outcomes.
